ABOUT CHATHAM ATHLETICS
The Chatham Athletic Department now hosts 22 teams and 500 student-athletes headed into the fall season.
Women's volleyball became the first team in Chatham History to finish as the regular season champion and host the PAC Championship Tournament as the #1 seed. Head Coach Joseph Bortak was named PAC Coach of the Year.
Women’s basketball won the PAC championship and clinched a spot in the NCAA Tournament, with the PAC Defensive Player of the Year Aurielle Brunner.
Reigning men's basketball PAC champions made it to the semifinal round of the PAC Tournament this year.
Men's soccer's Azavier Coppin earned PAC Newcomer of the Year.
Aurielle Brunner ’25 became a five time All-American, earning the honor in both the heptathlon and triple jump at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships as well as in the long jump at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships. She was also named to the All-American Second team in the long jump. She was named Most Outstanding Performer in the Field at the PAC Championships.
36 Cougars were named to their respective sports’ All-Conference Teams, including seven with First-Team honors.
170 student-athletes earning All-Academic Team honors this year, earning over a 3.6 GPA.
