About this Department
The Falk College of Environment, Leadership & Management. unites Chatham's strengths in sustainability and business into a single college, preparing students to lead organizations and communities toward a more sustainable future. As one of the top universities in the world for the study of sustainability, Chatham offers students the opportunity to learn where these fields intersect and put that knowledge into practice.
The college's Sustainability and the Environment Department is located at Eden Hall Farm, the world's first campus built from the ground up for the study of sustainability. Students there examine the connections among a wide range of systems and communities, working side by side with faculty on projects that make a difference in the world.
The Business Systems Department complements this work with a rigorous business curriculum grounded in environmental, social, and governance principles. Its programs and applied learning opportunities allow students to focus on the areas where business intersects with sustainability, healthcare, and sports management.
